Lou Aleixo
Principal Broker & President
Lou Aleixo brings over three decades of senior leadership and commercial finance experience to the firm.
Prior to founding Caliber Commercial Solutions, Lou led a national commercial brokerage division that arranged over $1 billion in commercial mortgage financing across Canada. His background includes senior commercial banking roles with TD Bank Group, where he managed complex portfolios and structured competitive credit solutions for business owners and investors.
Lou’s institutional experience provides deep insight into lender expectations, credit structuring, and capital negotiation. He maintains long-standing relationships with banks, life insurance companies, pension funds, credit unions, private lenders, and national housing authorities, enabling the firm to generate competitive lender interest and deliver strong financing outcomes.
He views commercial financing as long-term capital strategy — not a single transaction — guiding clients with measured judgment and execution focus.

Kyming Chan, P.Eng.
Managing Partner
Kyming Chan is Managing Partner of Caliber Commercial Solutions and a licensed mortgage professional since 2015.
Raised in a family actively involved in real estate investment, he has personally acquired, renovated, and repositioned properties for more than 20 years. His early exposure to construction and asset management led him to pursue engineering, becoming a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario and working in building rehabilitation and capital planning.
Over the course of his mortgage career, Kyming has been involved in structuring and coordinating transactions ranging from owner-operated businesses to larger-scale development and commercial real estate mandates. Having also founded and operated businesses and managed renovation/construction teams firsthand, he understands both the operational realities faced by entrepreneurs and the structuring discipline required for institutional capital.
This blend of technical training, investment experience, and commercial financing exposure allows him to approach transactions with practical judgment and strategic alignment — ensuring capital solutions are structured to meet both lender standards and client objectives.
